Ron Paul: Secession

Thomas Jefferson viewed State secession as the last alternative when no other resolution of differences with a central government was possible. 

A majority of States appear to be testing whether any resolution is possible, other than "submission to a government without limitation of powers". A number of States are testing limits through duly passed State laws that decriminalize marijuana. Others are testing limits by declining to set up State-run healthcare exchanges to implement Obamacare. The principle is the same.
